Shotgun Treasure Chest

My submission for Sketchfab’s #TreasureChestChallenge. It’s a treasure chest disguised as an oversized gun case, in the form of a giant shotgun shell. Very loosely inspired by heavily gun-centric games such as Borderlands and Enter the Gungeon.

I noticed my education license for Substance Painter has several months left, and used it for this. I'm still pretty rusty, but I've gained a new appreciation for Substance Painter. Things like layering or edge wear take a bit of time to setup in Blender, but Substance makes it easy. There's lots of details I wanted to add, but every contest needs a deadline, right?
